Final:
Clara Tauson (5) (Denmark) v Naomi Osaka (7) (Japan)
The pair hadn’t played each other previously.
After breaking Tauson twice in the first set, Osaka was broken back once.
Osaka won the set 6-4, but was forced to retire before the second set could begin.
Tsuson won the match 4-6 (retired) and took the title.
It was her third, and first since Luxembourg in September 2021.
