Keys in upset makes 2025 AO final

Madison Keys (19) (USA) v Iga Swiatek (2) (Poland)

Head to head Swiatek led 4-1 previously.

Most recently Swiatek had two wins in 2024, both on clay courts.
Keys won her match on a Cincinnati hard court in 2022.

Third AO semi final for Keys.
Second AO semi final for Swiatek.

Players exchanged service breaks in first four games of set one.
Score was 2-2.

Swiatek broke serve in the sixth game to lead 4-2.
She consolidated for 5-2.

Keys served to stay in the set.
She saved a set point before holding for 3-5.

Swiatek served for the set but was broken.
Still led 5-4.

Serving at 5-6 to stay in the set, Keys was broken.
Swiatek took the set 7-5.

Keys broke Swiatek in games one, three and five of set two.
