The first set proceeded without any service breaks and it was 3-3,
A tie break was required.
One mini break each and 6-6 was reached.
Medjedovic lost the next point on his serve and then Fils served out the set 4-3(8-6).
Medjedovic broke serve in game two of set two and led 2-0.
No more breaks and he served out the set 4-1.
Medjedovic broke straight away in set three to lead 1-0.
Fils saved a break point in game three but still trailed 1-2 and down the break.
Medjedovic served out the set 4-2.
Medjedovic saved a break point in game two of set four.
He saved a further two break points in game four and levelled at 2-2
In the eventual tie break, after two mini breaks apiece, the score reached 9-9.
File achieved another mini break, sufficient for him to take the set 4-3(11-9).
In the decider, Medjedovic broke in the second game to lead 2-0.
That was the only break and the Serbian proceeded to win the set and match.
