Final:

Aryna Sabalenka (4) (Belarus) v Veronika Kudermetova (Russia)

In their first meeting Sabalenka dominated set one, winning 16 of 21 points on serve and converting both break points available to her. Those were in the sixth and eighth games, and the second was also a set point.
Set two was once again Sabalenka’s but littered with break opportunities for both players. Four breaks of serve occurred in six games, three obtained by the fourth seed for a 5-1 lead.
Sabalenka couldn’t use a match point, and was eventually broken, but Kudermetova’s extension of the match lasted only one game as she faltered on her next effort at the line.
Aryna Sabalenka won 6-2 6-2 to claim the title, her ninth, and third in succession, following victories in Ostrava (Oct 20) and Linz (Nov 20).

The win enables Sabalenka to jump three places to a career high ranking of #7.
