Tomas Machac withdrew after the main draw was published due to illness, and was replaced by lucky loser Arthur Rinderknech.
Jordan Thompson withdrew after the main draw was published due to an adductor injury, and was replaced by lucky loser Jacob Fearnley.
Eighth seed Lorenzo Musetti withdrew after the main draw was published due to a thigh injury, and was replaced by lucky loser Damir Dzumhur.
Frances Tiafoe was instated as ninth seed, and moved in the draw to the place previously occupied by Musetti.
