21 year old Denis Shapovalov, reached the ATP top ten this week, after a few weeks of strong results. His career best ranking of #10, means he is the first Canadian in the top ten since Milos Raonic broke into the elite in August 2017.
Sadly a week is all the time Denis will enjoy there for the moment, as Roberto Bautista Agut has made the quarter finals in Hamburg and will regain the place that Shapovalov took from him when the new rankings are released on Monday.
Unless of course Fabio Fognini wins the Hamburg tournament and jumps ahead of them both.
