WTA - St Petersburg, Hua Hin

The 2020 WTA Tour is back after Sofia Kenin grabbed her first major with success at the Australian Open, and eight nations won through Fed Cup qualifying last week.
Two tournaments occur this week, in Europe and Asia.

2020 St Petersburg Ladies Trophy - a WTA Premier tournament, on Hard Rebound Ace, in St Petersburg, Russia, 10-16 February 2020.

Defending champion:

Kiki Bertens (2) who defeated Donna Vekic (8) 7-6(2) 6-4


The following players withdrew after entering but before the main draw was published:

 

- Danielle Collins replaced by Katerina Siniakova 

- Anett Kontaveit replaced by Viktoria Kuzmova 

- Rebecca Peterson replaced by Jennifer Brady 


Belinda Bencic, world number 5, is top seed.

The other 7 seeds are all in the top 25

The top 4 seeds have first round byes.

Dayana Yastremska (8) who defeated Ajla Tomljanović (6) 6-2 2-6 7-6(3)
