This was a successful defence of the tournament Bertens won last year, and was her 10th title on the WTA Tour, from 15 final appearances.

Bertens retains her ranking of #8, while Rybakina jumps 6 places to a new career high of #19

Final results 

- Magda Linette (5) defeated qualifier Leonie Kung 6-3 6-2

This was the second WTA title for Linette, from four final appearances, following her Bronx Open win in August last year.

It was the first WTA final for Swiss player Kung, having won five times on the ITF circuit, most recently in December in Antalya, Turkey.

Linette rises 9 spots to a career high of #33, and Kung shoots up 127 places to a career high of #156.
