In defending his Rotterdam title, Monfils took home his second trophy in successive weeks, following on from his Montpellier victory. This improved his career tally to 10 from 31 finals, and kept Monfils at #9 in the rankings. However, he moved up 4 spots to #3 in the 2020 ATP Race.
Auger-Aliassime moved up three places to #18, with his fourth finals appearance, so far all unsuccessful.

Marco Cecchinato (3) who defeated Diego Schwartzman (4) 6-1 6-2
Final result
- Casper Ruud (8) defeated lucky loser Pedro Sousa 6-1 6-4
This was the first ATP title for Ruud, in his second final, and the first for a Norwegian player on the ATP Tour.
For Sousa, at 31 this was the first ATP Tour final, although he’d won seven Challenger tournaments.
Ruud jumps 11 places to a career high of #34, and Sousa rises 38 spots to #107.

Final result
- Kyle Edmund (8) defeated Andreas Seppi 7-5 6-1
This was the second career title for Edmund, from three finals, following his European Open win in October 2018. Seppi has now contested 10 ATP finals for three wins. That was his fourth straight loss in finales, the last success coming in Moscow 2012.
A former top twenty player, Edmund jumps 17 spots to #45, and Seppi, also once in the top twenty, moves up 18 places to #80.
