Final result
- Stefanos Tsitsipas (2) defeated Felix Auger-Aliassime (7) 6-3 6-4 to successfully defend his title.
From ten finals, Tsitsipas has now won five titles. Four of his losses have been to Nadal (2) and Federer and Djokovic. He will retain his ranking of #6.
Auger-Aliassime is still only 19, but has made five ATP finals, two this year alone. While yet to break through for a win, it seems only a matter of time for the Canadian, ranked #19.

Semi final progress
- Yoshihito Nishioka had already defeated Ugo Humbert (6) 1-6 6-4 6-0
- Reilly Opelka (4) defeated Milos Raonic (2) 4-6 7-6(6) 6-3 in the remaining semi final.
In the second set tie break, Raonic trailed 0-5, but won the next six points to have match point, but Opelka saved it, and proceeded to win the tie break, set and match.
Final result
- Reilly Opelka (4) defeated Yoshihito Nishioka 7-5 6-7(4) 6-2
In his second final, Opelka captured his second title, 12 months after his breakthrough in New York. With his second triumph on home soil, Opelka improves his ranking fifteen spots back into the top fifty at #39.
This was the second ATP final for Nishioka, following his win in Shenzhen in late 2018. His ranking moves up 15 places to a career high of #48.

Garin followed his success in Córdoba last week by conquering the field in Rio this week. Two titles in 2020 and four in his career from five finals. In 2013, Garin defeated Alexander Zverev in the Juniors final at Roland Garros - now at 23 the Chilean is achieving big things at the senior level, moving up seven places to a career high ranking of #18.
For Mager, this was his first ATP final, and the Italian jumps 51 spots to a career high of #77. His previous best was #114.
