Wildcard Karen Khachanov (3) who defeated Adrian Mannarino 6-2 6-2

Top seed Daniil Medvedev was a late withdrawal, due to fatigue.

He was replaced by lucky loser Nikola Milojevic, who by taking Medvedev’s place at the top of the draw, gains the first round bye previously provided the top seed.
