Frech won the only previous match between the players:

Frech in her first final at WTA Tour level.
Linette broke serve in game four of the first set to lead 3-1.
No further break opportunities until Frech served at 2-5 to stay in the set.
Linette broke again and took the set 6-2.
Linette saved two break points in the opening game of set two and held for 1-0.
She broke in gsme four for 3-1.
Linette saved two break points in the fifth game and held for 4-1.
Frech was broken in the following game and the lead was 5-1.
Linette served out the match 6-2 6-1.
Title number three for Magda Linette, and first since Hua Hin in February 2020.
