Sixth seed Nuno Borges withdrew after the main draw was published due to an abdominal injury, and was replaced by lucky loser Hamad Medjedovic.
Third seed Tomas Martin Etcheverry withdrew after the main draw was published due to a back injury, and was replaced by lucky loser Gustavo Heide.
Heide received the first round bye originally given to Etcheverry.
