Pegula won the only previous match between the players:

Kalinskaya looking for first WTA Tour title in her second final.

Kalinskaya broke serve in the second game of set one.

She consolidated for 3-0.

Five successive breaks of serve from the fifth through to the ninth game.

Pegula then led 5-4.

Kalinskaya held serve to stay in the set. 5-5.

A tie break was eventually required.

Kalinskaya won it comprehensively and took the set 7-6(0).

Pegula broke in the opening game of set two.

The pair exchanged breaks of serve in games six and seven.

Pegula was up a break 4-3.

No more break opportunities and Pegula served out the set 6-4.

Kalinskaya broke in the fourth game of the decider to lead 3-1.

She then saved a break point before holding for 4-1.

Pegula broke back in the seventh game and trailed 3-4.

She then held for 4-4.

Kalinskaya saved four break points before holding for 5-4.

Serving to stay in the match, Pegula saved four match points, then held for 5-5.

Serving again to stay in the match, Pegula saved another match point and forced a tie break.

Pegula won the tie break and the match 6-7(0) 6-4 7-6(3).

Title number five for Pegula, and first since Korea in October 2023.
