Boulter successfully defends Nottingham title

Final day in Nottingham.
Including remaining semi final matches.

Defending champion:
Wildcard Katie Boulter who defeated Jodie Burrage 6-3 6-3

Semi final results:

Karolina Pliskova (6) defeated Diane Parry 6-7(9) 6-1 6-4
Katie Boulter (3) defeated wildcard Emma Raducanu 6-7(13) 6-3 6-4 after play resumed from previous day 

Final:

Karolina Pliskova (6) (Czech Republic) v Katie Boulter (3) (Great Britain)

2-2 in the four previous matches between the players.
Pliskova won the most recent - first round in San Jose, 2022.

Boulter broke serve in the opening game of set one.
Pliskova broke back in game eight to level at 4-4.

Serving at 4-4 to stay in the set, Boulter was broken again, and Pliskova won the set 6-4.

Boulter broke the Pliskova serve in game three of set two, and led 2-1.
No more break chances until Pliskova served at 3-5 to stay in the set.
Boulter broke and won the set 6-3.

Boulter broke in game four of the decider and led 3-1.
Breaks in the sixth and seventh games left Boulter ahead 5-2.

Serving to stay in the match, Pliskova was broken.

Katie Boulter won the day, successfully defending her title 4-6 6-3 6-2.

Title number three, and second this year, following San Diego in March.
