Musetti wins Olympic bronze medal

Lorenzo Musetti (11) (Italy) v Felix Auger-Aliassime (13) (Canada)

Felix won three of the five previous matches between the players.
Most recently: Felix won a 2022 Davis Cup semi final match.

Felix saved four break points in the opening game of the match.
He couldn’t save a fifth, and was broken.
Musetti led 1-0.

Felix broke back in game eight and levelled at 4-4.

Musetti broke in the following game and led 5-4.
He served out the set 6-4.

Felix broke in game two of set two.
He saved a break point in game three and held for 3-0.
Musetti saved a break point in game four and held for 1-3.

Felix broke in game six and led 5-1.
He served out the set 6-1.

Felix saved two break points in game four of the decider and held.
It was 2-2.

Musetti broke serve in game eight and led 5-3.

Lorenzo Musetti served out the match 6-4 1-6 6-3 and won a bronze medal for Italy.
