US Open draw released

The US Open, due to commence on 31 August, with no qualifying this year, has had its draws released.

There have been a number of withdrawals prior to the draw, mostly due to caution taken by players surrounding the corona virus.

Women’s Singles

In the women’s draw, Kerber, Osaka, Stephens, Clijsters and the Williams sisters, are all previous US Open champions, in addition to other Grand Slam glory. 

Muguruza, Kvitová, Azarenka and Kenin are winners of other majors.

In the men’s draw, Djokovic, Murray and Cilic are all previous US Open champions, in addition to other Grand Slam glory.

No one else has tasted major success.
