Pegula led 2-1.

Pegula broke serve in game five to lead 3-2.

Kessler broke back in game eight and levelled at 4-4.

Pegula saved a break point in game eleven and held for 6-5.

Kessler served to stay in the set but was broken.

Pegula took the set 7-5.

Service breaks were exchanged in the opening two games of set two.

Pegula broke serve in game four to lead 3-1.

She saved two break points in the following game.

Then held to consolidate at 4-1.

Kessler served at 2-5 to stay in the match.

She was broken and the match was over.

Jessica Pegula was victorious 7-5 6-2.

Title number seven, and first since WTA 1000 Canadian Open in August 2024.
