Fourth seed Guido Pella withdrew after the main draw was published due to illness and was replaced by lucky loser Joao Menezes.
Qualifier Marcelo Tomas Barrios Vera takes the place of Pella in the draw and receives the first round bye which Pella had.
Diego Schwartzman, world number 9, is top seed.
