ATP - Metz 1R continued

First round continued in Metz.

2024 Moselle Open, an ATP 250 tournament, on Hard Indoor, Metz, France, 3-9 November 2024.

Defending champion:
Ugo Humbert (4) who defeated Alexander Shevchenko 6-3 6-3

Fourth seed Holger Rune withdrew after the main draw was published due to back pain, and was replaced by lucky loser Pierre-Hugues Herbert.
Qualifier Jesper de Jong took the place in the draw previously occupied by Rune, and received the first round bye originally given to Rune.
Fifth seed Ugo Humbert withdrew after the main draw was published due to a back injury, and was replaced by lucky loser Titouan Droguet.
Facundo Diaz Acosta withdrew after the main draw was published due to illness, and was replaced by lucky loser Gregoire Barrere.
Arthur Cazaux withdrew after the main draw was published due to a thigh injury, and was replaced by lucky loser Manuel Guinard.
Arthur Rinderknech withdrew after the main draw was published, and was replaced by lucky loser Theo Papamalamis.
Third seed Grigor Dimitrov withdrew after the main draw was published due to illness, and was replaced by lucky loser Luca Van Assche.
Van Assche received the first round bye originally given to Dimitrov.
