2025 United Cup, a combined ATP and WTA teams tournament, on Hard Outdoor, Sydney and Perth, Australia, 27 December 2024 - 5 January 2025.
18 countries are qualified to compete as follows:
5 countries qualified based on the ATP ranking of their #1 ranked singles player
5 countries qualified based on the WTA ranking of their #1 ranked singles player
8 countries qualified based on the combined ranking of their #1 ranked ATP and WTA players
Australia as host nation could have, in exchange, taken a spot reserved for a country qualified under the third criterion.
However this was unnecessary as it qualified in its own right.
Perth and Sydney will each host 3 groups of 3 teams (consisting of up to 3 players from each tour) in a round robin series, and two quarter finals.
