Serve held. 4-2 Sabalenka.

Rybakina served again at 2-5, to stay in the set.

Set two saw Djokovic again break early for a 2-0 lead.
He then struggled through the third game, saving three break points before holding serve.
The fourth seed broke again for a 4-0 lead, and a love game consolidated the advantage further.

Paul finally registered a game and forced Djokovic to serve for the set, which he did, and led 7-5 6-1.

Paul served first in the third set, and saved two break points.
Not a third however, and Djokovic led 1-0.
Another break came in the third game, and after saving a break point in the fourth, Djokovic led 4-0.

Paul served at 1-5 to stay in the match.
He did his job, and left it to the Melbourne Park king to serve for it.

Day Twelve - men’s semi final day at the 2023 Australian Open.

The set went to a tie break, and Tsitsipas raced to 6-1. Khachanov saved one of the five set points, but couldn’t prevent Tsitsipas from taking the set 7-6(2).

Khachanov saved three points in the third game of set two, but was broken when serving at 4-4.

Tsitsipas had two match points at 6-4, but Khachanov saved both and eventually won the set 7-6(6).

Tsitsipas broke early in the fourth set and led 2-0.
This was enough, as Khachanov couldn’t place pressure on the Tsitsipas serve for the remainder of the set, not even taking it to deuce.
